SHAPE OUR FUTURE

As you will know, Rotherfield FC is now a 2 Star England Football Accredited Club. We are one of only 47 clubs across the whole of Sussex with 2 Star status. In addition there are only 3 clubs within Sussex with the top accolade of 3 Stars.

As a consequence of our 2 Star status we will receive support from the Sussex County FA Thriving Community Club Liaison Manager to discuss the resources available to us from the FA & SCFA to help sustain & develop our club. We will also receive support from an FA Club consultant to further help us plan our future.

Before all this occurs we should decide what we want!

We are looking for people in our club to form a working group to ensure all aspects of our club are equally reviewed to identify the improvements we would like to make. This will then be the framework for discussions with the FA/SCFA to arrive at our Future plan.

Issues such as pitch condition, pitch availability, Committee structures, Junior club, Girls football, open age adult football, Veterans football, Women’s football, Disability football pathway, club house facilities, grounds machinery/maintenance, support for coaches, support for administrators & succession planning for our key (but ageing!) people all need to be considered.

 Please consider if you would like to be part of this exciting planning for the future.
