The Veterans team formed during the dark days of COVID-19 lockdowns when a number of former players, after a few online social beers one night during the first lockdown, decided that it was time to get the boys back together. 

 

Since sobering up, the Vets have now completed 4 seasons in the Mid-Sussex Football League Veterans competition and will be moving to pastures new for the 2024-2025 season where we will be playing our football in the Sussex Sunday Football League.

We have a strong squad  - a large number of whom have played for the club in years gone by but as is the norm with Rotherfied anyone is welcome so if you feel as if your legs still work, and you are older than 35 and have an interested please get in touch via our email rotherfieldfcvets@gmail.com
