Safeguarding At Rotherfield Football Club
Rotherfield Football Club is committed to safeguarding all children that play at our club. We have two dedicated Child Welfare Officers at Rotherfield FC over both the Juniors and Adult sections.
Junior Club Child Welfare Officer
Anneka Ridley-Smith
Anneka joined the club in 2022. She has on Junior at the club and has another soon to join next season! Anneka has a BSc in Phycology and has worked for a Sussex-based housing organisation that helps support vulnerable people with their accommodation .
Adult Club Child Welfare Officer Phill Teague
Children can start playing adult football from the age of 16, so it is important we have a dedicated Welfare Officer for the Adult Section.
Phill plays regularly for the mens club and is also one of our Foundation Phase Junior Coaches. He joined Rotherfield FC from Langton Green FC.
How To Contact Us
Our Welfare Officers are a point of contact for anyone who wishes to raise concerns about any Child Welfare concerns.
