QUIZ NIGHT QUESTIONNAIRE

Our club Quiz night on 18th October has been cancelled as a consequence of a lack of entered teams.

This is very disappointing given the work to plan such an event: booking the hall, applying for a licence, securing raffle prizes, purchasing bar stock, writing the quiz etc. We have wasted some money but minimised our losses by acting swiftly.

Previous quiz nights raised £1000+ & this year the fund raising was for indoor training for our junior squads.

Why did only 5 teams enter? The previous quiz had over 20 teams and was a great success and many said how enjoyable the night was.

Was it the time of year? Was it the cost? Was it because a quiz night is not appealing?

We have always tried to keep our junior fees as low as possible to ensure we are inclusive. We don’t waste your money on nice to have team wear, or bags but there are lots of costs for football that are increasing.

If our fundraising events are not supported then the club may have to consider increasing fees to fund junior football.

We don't want to do that so please let us know why you didn’t support the quiz or better still what you would support & how you are prepared to help organise. Please use the link attached to leave an anonymous response.

Please don’t leave responding to others, let us know!
