On Saturday, our Firsts welcome Hailsham Town FC to the Recreation Ground in the third round of the Sussex County FA Intermediate Cup.

A win for Rotherfield will secure them a home fixture in the Quarter Finals.

Sam Saunders and co. will be eager to get on the front foot early to get back to the stellar level of performance as demonstrated in the 4-2 home win against Frenches Athletic.

Fan favourites Jack Turner, Max Carbune, Mike Peevor and Callum Ridley are likely to feature as well as Rotherfield Junior alumni Archie Russell and Kieran Sumner.

Archie and Kieran both played as Juniors at the club since the age of 4 with Archie now cementing himself as a first team player and Kieran breaking in to the side recently having proved himself in the Reserves.

Dan Gray will be looking to add to his goal tally as after his quick brace and inspired performance last week earning the Greens a valuable point. Jack Spampanato will also be hunting for goals as he and Gray are joint top scorers so there may be competition between them to edge ahead!
