Pitches Get Some Much-Needed TLC Ahead of Winter

A huge thank you to Pete Mannington, who has once again completed the deep spiking (verti-draining) of all our pitches with his usual care and attention. Pete continues to be a fantastic supporter and partner of our community club.

Conditions were absolutely perfect for the work, allowing us to achieve an impressive depth of over 275mm, with holes spaced at 100mm intervals across the entire playing area.

The machine's integrated roller also helped level out the surfaces, giving the pitches some much-needed attention following the impact of the hot summer and the additional drainage work carried out on the mini pitches.

The results are looking fantastic, and you could almost say our pitches are back to their usual very high standard!

With winter approaching, this work is another important investment in maintaining the quality of our facilities for all our players, from the youngest age groups through to our senior teams.
