ROTHERFIELD REMEMBERS
Rotherfield FC circa 1912 Tomorrow is Armistice Day when at 11am, when as a nation we stop for two minutes at the time when peace was declared in 1918, to remember those that served our country and didn't return. Rotherfield FC did not go unscathed during the 1st World War with the majority of players not returning home. MATCH REPORT: RESERVES VS WILLINGDON ATHLETIC
Our reserves were on their travels yet again with a trip to the suburbs of Eastbourne. At least it was a sunny day. However there were no buckets & spades for the lads as a much depleted squad rolled up their sleeves & battled to secure another win. Behind very early in the match, Bowen’s battlers responded brilliantly & Lloyd Brazier equalised. All square at half time & all to play for.
