ROTHERFIELD FC APPOINT WAYNE CLARKE AS NEW HEAD COACH

New First Team Head Coach Wayne Clarke

Today Rotherfield Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of new First Team Head Coach Wayne Clarke.

Chairman Peter Ford stated:

I am delighted to advise that Wayne will take up the role of first team head coach -with immediate effect in time to orchestrate pre-season preparations that commence on 2nd July.

Wayne is well known in local football having been an extremely successful player in FA level 4 & 5 clubs, making the game look ludicrously easy!

However it was his passion for football & especially for success at Rotherfield FC that ultimately secured Wayne this opportunity.

Wayne will be assisted by Alex Watts, to provide continuity following his appointment as first team assistant coach last season.

The initial phase of pre-season will provide Wayne with the opportunity to assess the playing squad as he looks to use his serious coaching ability to improve player & ultimately team performance. He will also oversee coaching of all first team & reserves players. 

After the upward trajectory of performance in the last 3 seasons under the careful guidance of Andy Garrett this is now an exciting time for the club to really kick on to build upon excellent foundations.
