Rotherfield's winning run came to an end this Saturday with Westfield taking home all three points.

A sharp shower prior to kick-off made the surface quick and the ball was zipping around the pitch and as the contest settled, there was few goal opportunities.

Ross Treleaven came close with an effort that was parried away by Westfield's keeper.

But with five minutes remaining of the half, Patteson Riugaimae put the Westies in front to take them into the break with the lead.

The second half was a disastrous start with Micheal Rwabigwi doubling the visitors lead within the 10 minutes of the restart.

Just past the hour mark and Dan Tewksbury was able to make it three, then moments from full time, Josh Pickering made it four.

A hard day on the pitch, but Rotherfield did come close to scoring with Connor Morrow having an effort hit the side netting, and Dan Gray hitting an effort which would have been goal of the season if the crossbar was a couple of inches higher.

Squad: Davies, Russell, Carbune, Ridley, Kent, Sinclair, Saunders, Peevor, Spampanato, Treleaven, Morrow

Subs: Fyffe, Gray, Kerslake, Teague, Watts (unused)

Man Of The Match: Archie Russell - probably his best performance to date, being strong defensively and not allowing either Westfield wingers any joy.
