Last week, Rotherfield FC received their latest PitchPower report for all four playing surfaces at Rotherfield Recreation Ground. PitchPower is the Football Foundation's free revolutionary web app for inspecting and improving grass pitches.
The Club are delighted to share that the report shows that our pitches have received a Performance Quality Standard (PQS) grading of Advanced and High. The Bottom Pitch has been graded as Advanced and both Mini-Soccer Pitches and the Main Pitch have been graded as High. This means all our pitches have been graded in the 2 highest PQS's the report issues (Poor, Basic, Good, Advanced and High).
The report also stated: These have become some of the best football pitches in the area and the club are to be praised highly for being proactive with pitch maintenance and the continued investment into their playing surfaces.

At the same time, Rotherfield FC are also extremely proud to announce that Senior Club Chairman and Grounds Team Co-ordinator Peter Ford was the recipient of the Sussex County FA 2023 Grassroots Football Awards Grounds Team of the Year Award.
This is recognition for the years of dedication and hard work Pete and his colleagues have shown in making Rotherfield Football Club a place where people can enjoy playing football on quality pitches.
The Club would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Pete on receiving this prestigious award and thank him and his colleagues that have helped in maintaining the playing surfaces over the years.
