DIRECTIONS
Rotherfield is a village within the Wealden District of East Sussex, which lies to the south of Tunbridge Wells and to the east of Crowborough. Rotherfield FC play at Rotherfield Recreation Ground which is located on North Street, opposite Rotherfield CE Primary School.

By Road:
From Crowborough: Rotherfield is on the B2100. If you are coming via Crowborough, stay on the B2100 (Crowborough Hill) and head through Jarvis Brook. Continue on the same road (Rotherfield Hill) until you come to Rotherfield. Passing St. Deny's Church on your right, you will arrive at The Square, with Rotherfield Stores on your left and the Catts Inn in front of you. Immediately on the left after Rotherfield Stores is North Street. Continue on this road for about 300 yards and the entrance to the ground is on the left.
From The Coast: Coming from the Eastbourne or Brighton area, head towards the A22 via Uckfield Bypass. Then continue on the A26 towards Crowborough. Just outside of Crowborough, turn left on to Sheep Plain, passing Beacon Golf Course, which then becomes Hurtis Hill. At the end of Hurtis Hill go over the mini round-a-bout on to Fermor Road (on the right in a few 100 yards you will pass Crowborough Athletic FC). Stay on this road which becomes Walshes Road and then Western Road. At the end of Western Road, turn right and continue up the hill into Rotherfield (follow the above directions into Rotherfield).
Coming from the Hastings area, head on to the A21. After Hurst Green, turn left on to the B2099 towards Ticehurst. Continue through Ticehurst, then Wadhurst. When you reach Durgates, turn left on to the B2100 and head towards Mark Cross. At Mark Cross, turn left at the Mark Cross Inn then follow the road on to the junction. Here, turn right then immediate left, still on the B2100. Go through Town Row and then in to Rotherfield. Once at the junction, with The Kings Arms on your left, turn right and then take next right on to North Street. Continue on this road for about 300 yards and the entrance to the ground is on the left.
Parking:
Free parking is available at the ground but please be aware this carpark is shared with all users of the Recreation Ground and can become very busy if other events are on. We do request that visitors try and park at the rear of the Village Hall. If parking is not available, then there are laybys adjacent to the ground on North Street.
By Rail:
The nearest station is Crowborough Station which is located at Jarvis Brook. On foot, Rotherfield is about a 15-20 minute walk but is predominantly uphill. As you exit the station, turn right towards the main road and turn right on to Rotherfield Hill, walk under the railway bridge and follow the main road up the hill to Rotherfield (follow the directions above from Crowborough once you are in Rotherfield).
