Our reserves were on their travels yet again with a trip to the suburbs of Eastbourne. At least it was a sunny day. However there were no buckets & spades for the lads as a much depleted squad rolled up their sleeves & battled to secure another win. Behind very early in the match, Bowen’s battlers responded brilliantly & Lloyd Brazier equalised. All square at half time & all to play for. ROTHERFIELD FC REMEMBERS
Our teams marked Remembrance Sunday with 2 minutes silence prior to their kick offs today. As well as teams showing respect to the fallen, one of our Under 7s, Leith, laid a wreath of poppies on behalf of Rotherfield Football Club at the Airman's Grave site on the Ashdown Forest. This was in honour the "Green Boys" who were among the 24 men who enlisted in the Royal Sussex Regiment on 7th September 1914, as well as the many service personnel who fought in conflicts around the
