ROTHERFIELD BONFIRE SOCIETY STREET COLLECTION
RJFC u8 players Archie & Arnie being presented with their certificates of achievement from RFC Chair Pete Ford. Both lads walked the entire procession with collection buckets to raise money. RJFC were one of the recipients from the street collection & received a fantastic £500! Thanks Archie & Arnie (& everyone else who walked) for their efforts! Stars! The money will be used towards new portable goals for the juniors to facilitate the new FA 3v3 format.

PITCHES RATED GOOD TO HIGH
Pitches rated Good to High on latest PitchPower report Despite a very hot summer with associated hose pipe ban (which is still in force) that did have a detrimental effect on the recreation ground pitches, our latest PitchPower report has graded the bottom pitch as Good, our mini soccer pitches as Advanced/High & once again the main pitch achieves the top grade of High. Lots of work & lots of money goes into maintaining our pitches! The next step is a meeting with the Grounds

Cup Tie – Pease Pottage The Rotherfield Vets rolled into Pease Pottage for their third game in four weeks with the smallest squad of the season for their SSFL Vets Cup (In memory of Ian Dean). Brooker and Harkness answered the late SOS call, proving that sometimes heroes don’t wear capes — they just remember where they left their shin pads.
